Savannah and Eli are the kind of couple every photographer DREAMS of booking! Needless to say, when they popped the question to me I was more than excited! I’m amazed at these two. Their initial wedding plans were rudely interrupted by torrential rain and hail! I remember standing with gorgeous Savannah on the porch looking out over her Aunt and Uncle’s lovely property…as it stormed! Savannah just laughed a little…I was inspired! These two literally JUST wanted to be married…rain or shine…they didn’t care. They love each other deeply and there was no stopping them! By an act of GOD, the gorgeous Mazanita Kitchen was open for the first time in 6 weeks! Hours before their wedding, all plans changed! We kept saying, “If 4 walls were built around this wedding day, it would look like this venue.” And so they married…with 200+ of their closest family and friends crowded closeby to watch. It was beautiful, real & perfect. And let me say, this family is incredible! Savannah’s father passed away when she was a little girl. Her maid of honor made her a token to wear in her dress from her dad’s shirt (crying yet?). Then, at the Father/Daughter dance, each of her 3 handsome brothers stepped in to dance with their sister. I’m surprised I got ANY in focus pictures…shoot…I’m crying AGAIN right now! The whole day reflected their closeness and love. All that to say, I couldn’t be happier for you two! It was AN HONOR to witness this special day!
The heart her Maid of Honor maid her from her daddy’s shirt!
